Serving6 is a remarkable six-member family band whose heartfelt message of hope through Christ touches people of all ages and faiths. Before Curt and Cindy even met, they were composing and singing Christian music as young individuals who each felt a strong calling of God upon their lives.
Their music brought them together, and they soon realized they both shared the vision of bringing hope to the hopeless…and this is exactly what they have done through the years with their music. And along the way, each of their four children have picked up musical instruments and joined them in their mission.
Calie, the oldest of the four siblings and the only girl, sings, writes, and plays keyboards. Christopher, the oldest son, plays both electric and acoustic guitar as well as keyboards. Joshua, the middle son, plays the bass and the acoustic guitar. Jeremy, the youngest is the band’s drummer and also plays the keyboard.
All members also write, compose, and sing either lead or backup vocals on their latest two CD’s, “Christmas in Geoargia” and “This Place”. But what really stands out most about all four of these young people is not just their natural talents and abilities, but their sincerity of faith and commitment to their family’s mission of testifying hope in Jesus Christ.
The leader and backbone of the group is Curt, who not only is the main keyboardist, but also composes, records and produces the bands music. Cindy is the lead singer of the group who uses her dynamic voice and versatile vocal range to boldly share her faith in Christ.
Most of the band’s original works began with inspiration and words that God gave family members as they sought Him in their daily prayer life.
Many of the songs were birthed from real-life experiences that has taken them through periods of seemed hopelessness and desperation, where God used their trials to not only develop a deeper faith in Him, but also to stir up songs that minister to people going through similar situations.
Put this all together and we have Serving6, Six Serving One, with a sound that mimics no one, but joins individual styles to create an eclectic pop-soft-rock-strings-sound— a sound that is combined with an undeniable message that will move hearts toward Jesus and bring Hope to a hurting world.
